I would like to thank you for your contribution to the local music scene in Richmond and Central Virginia. My name is Steve Brooks. I play in the group Splash we've been performing in Central Virginia for 15 years and we had the good fotrune to meet the AMF Band at the Sandston Moose Lodge a few years ago. I just found your website today and I appreciate the quality and the content of your site. It is great to see fellow musicians promoting the local music scene and networking. I am looking forward to coming and see you perform again now that I have acess to your band schedule.

I'm gonna have to pull out the old pics I have got of everyone from way back, before gray hair was concidered a normal everyday thing when we look into the mirror.

When I went and saw the AMF Band last month or was that January...(see the mind goes next) It was like time had stood still for the past 12 years...until... I saw all that gray hair and I had to go in the bathroom and look to see if I had realy gotten that old too...yes I had!

It was 2 HOT shows at LT this weekend. Large crazy crowds on both nights... plenty of drinkin', dancin' and smokin' going down - so much so that they had to clean the smoke-eaters after Sat. night...

I condensed the 'Forums' section of this website today. All of the 'Other Bands' forums along with the 'Tavern Talk' forum were deleted and the messages from these forums were moved into a new forum called 'Band Talk'.
